Barcodes
Barcodes are automatically printed on all framing dockets.
The barcode format is Code39 and is generated by a font, Free 3 of 9 Extended, that is installed on your computer along with EstLite.
Most barcode scanners will read Code39 by default, however some may require that option to be programmed in. Ensure that the display of beginning and end asterisk * is turned off - you can verify that beginning and end are not displayed by scanning a docket barcode while in Notepad.
When EstLite's main screen is active, scanning the barcode on the docket will automatically bring up a menu that will allow you to perform many EstLite functions with ease.
Scanning the barcode on the moulding label will enter that moulding into the appropriate input box on the main screen. If another moulding label is scanned within 10 seconds of a previous one it gets stacked on to the previous moulding.
